Studying with DbN in Jordan gives students the opportunity to practice Arabic in real-life settings, learn from highly-trained native speakers, and experience the rich culture and history of the Middle East. Our programs emphasize cultural immersion as a critical part of language acquisition.

- DbN’s Study Abroad programs are founded on intensive Arabic language study and encourage full immersion into the language and culture. Classes are taught entirely in Arabic in a way that is geared towards non-native speakers. Students study both Modern Standard Arabic and Levantine Dialect. One semester of intensive Arabic learning with DbN is equivalent to roughly one year of university study in the U.S.!
Students seeking study abroad programs with academic credit, Done by Native Academic Programs offers immersive study abroad experiences in Amman, Jordan, focused on Arabic language acquisition and cultural immersion. With a curriculum tailored for university students, the program combines classroom instruction with real-life practice, enhancing language skills through interaction with native speakers. Participants benefit from small group classes, private lessons, and the option to engage in internships. Cultural activities, such as exploring local markets, historical sites, and traditional Jordanian cuisine, enrich the learning experience, making it ideal for students interested in Middle Eastern culture.

Done by Native offers a variety of options for private Arabic study in Amman for those seeking language acquisition and cultural immersion on their own terms. These private programs run all year at whatever time is convenient for you. Please note that you must register at least two months in advance before starting your Arabic program.
Done by Native’s two-week intensive option is the perfect program for students looking to dive into Jordanian culture, society, and daily life while taking a fully customized “crash course” in Jordanian Arabic. - Seeing Jordan!
- With language acquisition at the forefront, DbN provides program excursions to important cultural, natural, and historical sites in Jordan giving students to chance to experience all that the country has to offer. Program excurions may include visits to Petra, Wadi Rum, the Dead Sea, or archaelogical sites throughout the country!
Done by Native plans frequent cultural and sight seeing excursions for our students. Past trips have included visits to local museums, restaurants, and cultural attractions. DBN organizes all transportation for the trips, and provides a knowledge tour guide.
