‌Report Writing

‌Report writing is one of the most difficult skills in business communication, especially for non-natives. There is often much confusion about the writing style, what structure to use or the length of the document

‌This course is designed to help participants to know how to write and present a report in a style which is appropriate for its purpose.
After completing this course, participants will be able to:

  • Plan a report with a structure which is appropriate for its purpose- Know how to write the most common sections which are found in business reports
  • Format a table of contents to a professional standard- Number the sections of the report appropriately
  • Use diagrams appropriately- Know how to use numerical language in a report- Describe what is shown by graphs and charts
  • Edit their report for grammatical corrections- Use language which is clear and well-organized- Avoid unnecessary repetition- Write reports in a modern style
